Five markers worth tracking from 30 onwards
HbA1c, ApoB, hs-CRP, ferritin and vitamin D: what each one tells you over the years, and why a trend is worth more than any single result.

Vitamin D in a British winter
Why most people in the UK run low between October and March, what the NHS advises, and why a test is better than guessing.

When to test in a training block
Baseline, mid-block and pre-race: how to time a blood test so hard sessions do not muddy the results.

How to read your Skyline report
Reference ranges, flags, what "optimal" means, why trends beat snapshots, and when to take a result to your GP.

Ferritin for runners: why "normal" might not be enough
What iron stores do, why endurance athletes run low, the thresholds sports medicine uses, and what to ask your GP.
How do I book my appointment?
Right after checkout you pick a date and time at your clinic or for your home visit. If your clinic doesn't take bookings through Skyline, we email you their details to book direct. The link is also in your confirmation email and your account.
Is this a finger prick test?
No. Every Skyline test is a venous draw taken by a qualified professional.
How quickly will I get my results?
Usually within 24 hours of your sample reaching the lab. Urine tests can take up to 2 days, with an interim report first and the final report after.
Does anyone review my results?
No. Skyline is not a medical provider and doesn't diagnose. Your report presents each marker against its reference and optimal range with a plain English overview. Take anything flagged to your GP.
What happens to my health data?
It's encrypted, UK hosted and visible only to you and the Skyline staff who run the service. We never share results with marketing tools.
Can I pause coaching?
Yes. Pause, resume or cancel from your account at any time.
