Our promise
Skyline Vitality exists to help people understand what is happening inside their bodies and act on it. Everything we do follows four rules: a proper venous sample, an accredited laboratory, a report you can understand, and no diagnosis or treatment from us. This page sets out the standards behind that promise.
The laboratory
Every sample is analysed by Nationwide Pathology, a UKAS accredited medical laboratory (No. 7983) working to ISO 15189:2022, the international standard for medical laboratories. The laboratory's reference ranges are the ranges your results are reported against. We name the laboratory on every product page and in every report.
Sample collection
Samples are taken by venepuncture, never a finger prick. At a partner clinic or on a home visit your sample is taken by a trained phlebotomist or nurse. If you arrange your own collection you confirm that a suitably qualified professional will take the sample, using the kit, request form and packaging the laboratory supplies. Samples travel to the laboratory in the laboratory's own packaging.
Your results and reports
Your report shows each result against the laboratory's reference range with a plain English explanation of what the marker measures and why it matters. Anything outside the range is flagged so that you can take it to your GP. We do not diagnose, prescribe or treat, and nothing in a report replaces advice from a clinician. If a result needs urgent attention we contact you using the details on your order.
Coaches and the Skyline Performance Network
Coaches coach; they do not practise medicine. Every coach in the network has passed Skyline onboarding: recognised qualifications and professional insurance checked, a proven coaching method and communication standards reviewed, clear professional boundaries agreed, and data protection and safeguarding training completed. A coach sees your test results only if you choose to share them, and never interprets them clinically.
Your data
Your personal and health data is encrypted, stored in the UK and never shared with marketing tools. Only the people who need it to deliver your test or your coaching can see it. Our Privacy policy explains what we hold, why, for how long and your rights.
Raising a concern
If you have a concern about a sample, a result, an appointment or a coach, email info@skylinevitality.com with your order number. We acknowledge every concern, investigate it, and tell you what we found and what we have changed. Concerns about a sample or a laboratory result are raised with the laboratory on your behalf.
Keeping this page honest
We review these standards regularly and update this page when anything changes. The date at the top of each policy tells you when it was last updated.
