Coaching terms
The terms that apply to Skyline Performance Network coaching subscriptions, nutrition coaching and consultations.
Draft for review and sign-off. Skyline Vitality's own solicitor should check this wording before launch.
What these terms cover
These Coaching terms apply to Skyline Performance Network coaching subscriptions (road running, trail running, cycling, strength and physique, hybrid performance), nutrition coaching and one-off consultations bought from Skyline Vitality Ltd. They sit alongside our Terms and conditions; where the two differ, these terms apply to coaching.
What coaching is, and is not
Coaching is personalised training, nutrition and lifestyle guidance built around your goals, your life and, if you choose to share them, your Skyline test results. Your coach is a qualified, insured coach approved by Skyline, not a doctor. Coaching is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and your coach will never interpret a blood result clinically or change medication or treatment. Anything clinical is for your GP. If you have a medical condition, an injury or a concern about your health, speak to your GP before starting or continuing a plan.
Subscribing and getting matched
A coaching subscription starts on the day you subscribe. After checkout you complete a short questionnaire about your goals, training history, injuries and availability. We match you with a Skyline-approved coach, usually within two working days, and introduce you by email. If you would prefer a different coach, tell us and we will rematch you where we can.
Tiers
Every discipline is offered at three tiers, which are described on the product page and in your account: Essential (a personalised plan with a monthly review), Personal (weekly feedback and messaging with your coach) and Premium Performance (video reviews and a season plan on top). You can move between tiers from your account; a change takes effect from your next billing date.
Billing
Subscriptions bill monthly in advance to the card you used at checkout, on the same date each month, until you pause or cancel. Instalment options such as Klarna and Clearpay are not available for subscriptions. If a payment fails we tell you and try again; if it still fails your subscription is paused until a payment succeeds. Prices can change; we give you at least 30 days' notice before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Pausing and cancelling
You can pause your subscription for up to 8 weeks at a time, for example for injury or a holiday, from your account; billing stops while it is paused and resumes when it restarts. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. Your 14-day right to cancel a new subscription is set out in our Terms and conditions.
Your part
Coaching only works with honest information. Tell your coach about injuries, illnesses, conditions and medication that affect training or nutrition, and tell them promptly if anything changes. You decide whether to follow a plan and you train at your own risk: stop and seek medical advice if something hurts, feels wrong or you feel unwell. Give your coach the feedback and session data the tier includes so that the plan can adapt.
Sharing your test results
Your coach can only see your Skyline blood test report if you choose to share it, which you can switch on or off in your account at any time. When shared, your coach uses it to shape training and nutrition, for example around iron, recovery markers or vitamin D. Coaches do not give medical advice on results.
Coach conduct and standards
Every coach has passed Skyline onboarding: recognised qualifications and professional insurance checked, a coaching method and communication standards reviewed, clear professional boundaries, and data protection and safeguarding training. Our Standards page explains more. If you have a concern about your coach, contact us at info@skylinevitality.com and we will look into it and rematch you where appropriate.
Consultations
A nutrition consultation or a results review call is a one-off session booked for a date and time. You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before the session for a full refund. If you miss a session without notice it is treated as delivered. A results review call explains what your report shows and what questions to take to your GP; it is not a medical consultation.
Your data and messages
Your questionnaire, plans, messages and session data are stored in your account and shared only with your coach and the Skyline team who support the service, as described in our Privacy policy. When your subscription ends we keep this information for the period set out there so that you can resume later.
Complaints and the law
If something goes wrong, tell us at info@skylinevitality.com and we will put it right where we can. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
